Job Title: Technical Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Bryanston with some travel to Centurion required
Salary: Market Related CTC and Generous Annual Bonus Scheme
Role Overview: Experienced Technical Infrastructure Engineer required to provide support for Lightstone's networks, systems and end users. You must have your own transport. Core working hours are between 8am and 5pm with occasional after hours work required.
Qualifications:
- Matric and relevant tertiary qualification required
- Computer related degree or diploma advantageous
- Role-related Microsoft certifications preferred
Experience:
- At least 2 years of hands-on technical infrastructure engineering / support experience in a Microsoft environment required
- Networking: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, VOIP
- Security: in Visual Studio 2008 or later
- Hardware / Software: Windows Server/Desktop support, including hardware, software, peripherals and network access technologies
- Messaging / Collaboration: Microsoft Exchange
- Disaster Recovery: disaster recovery infrastructure including backup systems and processes
Non-Technical Skills
- Ability to work well in a team as well as individually
- Ability to accurately estimate work required on tasks, prioritise work and deliver to deadline
- Positive outlook on life, work and other people
- Attentive to detail, and able to think creatively outside the box
- Excited about learning, pushing technical limits and finding new solutions
